You don’t need to be a tattoo artist to use InkFinder.

 

 

 

Are the designs tattoo-ready?

 


Yes.

All designs on InkFinder are reviewed before publishing and prepared with tattooing in mind. Most designs include:

 

  • Clean linework suitable for stencils

  • High-resolution artwork

  • Clear structure that can be adjusted by your tattoo artist

 


Final placement, size, and any changes should always be done by a professional tattoo artist.

 

 

 

What’s the difference between repeatable designs and one-off designs?

 


 

Repeatable Designs

 

 

  • Can be purchased by multiple people

  • Include a single-use tattoo license per purchase

  • Stay available on the platform after purchase

  • Ideal for flash, walk-ins, and popular motifs

 


 

One-Off / Exclusive Designs

 

 

  • Sold only once

  • Removed from the platform after purchase

  • Designed for clients who want something unique

  • Higher price due to exclusivity

 


The product page clearly states which type of design you are purchasing.

 

 

 

What rights do I get when I buy a design?

 


When you purchase a design, you receive a tattoo usage license.


This means:

✔ You can use the design for tattooing

✔ A tattoo studio can use it for one client

✖ You cannot resell, redistribute, or repost the file

✖ You cannot use it for merchandise, logos, or commercial products


The original artist always retains copyright.

 

 

 

Can tattoo artists modify the design?

 


Yes.

Your tattoo artist may:

 

  • Adjust size and placement

  • Make small stylistic changes

  • Adapt the design to fit the body

 


This is normal and expected in professional tattooing.

 

 

 

Do you offer refunds?

 


Because all products are digital downloads, purchases are generally non-refundable.


If there is a technical issue (corrupted file, missing download, wrong product), contact support and we’ll help.

 

 

 

How do artists get paid?

 


Artists earn money every time their design is purchased.

 

  • Artists receive a percentage of each sale

  • Payouts are handled regularly

  • Artists keep ownership of their work

 


Exact payout details are discussed directly with artists during onboarding.

 

 

 

Can I apply as an artist?

 


Yes.

We’re always looking for artists whose work fits the platform.


You can apply via the Join as an Artist page by submitting:

 

  • Your portfolio or Instagram

  • Examples of flash or tattoo work

  • Your style and background

 


We review submissions manually.

 

 

 

Is AI used on InkFinder?

 


InkFinder focuses on quality and tattoo-ready output.


Some designs may use digital tools as part of the creative process, while others are fully hand-drawn.

All designs are reviewed and curated to ensure they meet tattooing standards.


What matters most to us is that designs are usable, original, and appropriate for tattooing.

 

 

 

Can studios use InkFinder in-shop?

 


Yes.

Many studios use InkFinder as a digital flashbook:

 

  • On tablets or iPads

  • For walk-ins

  • To speed up design selection

 


Subscription options for studios may be introduced in the future.

 

 

 

Will there be subscriptions?

 


Yes — subscription plans are planned for:

These plans will offer access to a set number of downloads or unlimited access depending on the tier.

Who is responsible for the final tattoo result?

 


The tattoo artist performing the tattoo is responsible for:

 

  • Placement

  • Technique

  • Execution

 


InkFinder provides designs and files, but does not perform tattoo services.
